For the mattress, I cut a rectangle out of padding from cold food shipments. Quilt batting (link) or foam works well too.
I cut two rectangles of white poplin to be the top and bottom sheets. The bottom sheet I folded and tacked with embroidery thread to fake a fitted sheet look. I suspect I could have added elastics in the corners to make it more realistic, but this worked fine. I finished the edges of the top sheet with no-sew hem tape (similar link).
For the pillows, I followed the instructions from Chelsea Andersson’s book 50 Makes for Modern Miniatures (link). I used the same white poplin as the sheet and filled with quilt batting (link).
For the bottom blanket, I used a fuzzy fleece from Joann’s Fabric.
For the top blanket, I used a knit that I picked up from the Joann’s remnants bin. I cut a rectangle, used fray check (link) on the edges, and then handstitched a blanket stitch in a similar lavender- colored embroidery floss around the edges.
