Picking fun color combinations for houses and rooms is a great aspect of miniature design. The website coolors.co (link) is a free tool that lets you pick complementary colors based on any number of fixed colors.
I learned about it from Wei’s Domestika course, “DIY Miniature House & Furnishing for Beginners” (link), which I am really enjoying.
Here are some color palettes that I generated for A’s house based on the light blue that my kids picked out at the hardware store for the outside:
