A librarian reached out to our Etsy shop as she planned a celebration for the promotion of a colleague. She wanted 50 books that the staff could write a small note in to congratulate the colleague and wish them well in their new position.
As lifelong bookworms, it was a delight for us to get to make these for our beloved local librarians. Although the standard books in our Etsy shop are not designed to be opened and written in, we made a few tweaks so that these could be opened for the congratulatory messages. The customer also wanted a wide variety of colors, so we included some different metal tones on the spines and expanded beyond our usual color palette.
