Making Your Own 3D Printed Tools and Organizers

Although we love using our BambuLabs P1S to print miniatures themselves, we also find it handy to create 3D printed tools and organizers for miniature making.

Below is a list of some of our favorite free files. The 3D printing community is SO generous in sharing so many different types of files.

Our favorite feature of the MakerWorld website (here) is that users are given “boosts” which they can use to reward the markers of their favorite files. So, don’t forget to give these creators a “boost”–which puts some money in their pockets–if you enjoy their files.

And an honorary mention…The multiboard pegboard for any workshop!

For our workshop, we have used the amazing multiboard.io (link) to create a fully-custom pegboard to hold all of our most-reached-for tools. The YouTube videos of HandsonKatie (link) provided the inspiration. She now recommends the opengrid system instead of multiboard, but we haven’t tried it yet.

How are you using your 3D printer to create tools for your miniature making?
